2012 marks the 125th birthday of Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos. In commemoration, this concert is devoted entirely to his music. On the program will be the sixteen Cirandas, based on Brazilian children's songs; A Prole do Bebe (The Baby's Family), suite one; and Bachianas Brasileiras #4.
